MITCHELL NORDBY
EXECUTIVE CHEF
Chef Mitchell's culinary career has brought him around the globe, from the world-famous Huka Lodge in Taupo, New Zealand to the iconic Charlie Trotter's Chicago, where his team gained a 2 Star Michelin rating with Mitchell at the helm as Executive Sous Chef. Mitchell’s experience took him to De Librije in Holland and Noma in Denmark, landing at the Ritz Carlton San Francisco, where he advanced from hotel restaurant Sous Chef to Executive Sous Chef overseeing food and beverage operations among multiple outlets. He joined the family at Stonebrae Country Club in March of 2019, where he enjoys playing golf with the team and celebrating the Members with a variety of events and ever-changing menus. Mitchell, his wife, and two sons welcomed their baby girl in Spring 2021.
VIRIDIANA SANTANA BAUTISTA
SOUS CHEF
Born and raised in the small town of Zitácuaro Michoacán México, Viri comes from a family that inspired a love of music, dancing, singing, family, and Mexico. Viri moved to the Bay Area at the age of 16, attended San Leandro High, and then onto Laney College from which she earned two associate degrees; Restaurant Management and Patisserie Arts. Viri joined the Stonebrae culinary family in 2014 and through mentorship with Executive Chef, Mitchell Norby, has developed into an inspired and talented Sous Chef. Viri brings gratitude & joy to her work with the Culinary team, which is translated beautifully into the food she produces.
