JUSTIN ARCHULETA
ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL
Golf has been a part of Justin’s life since the age of 8. Playing competitive junior and high school golf, Justin was never the biggest or strongest, so he focused on the importance of having a solid short game, as well as being mentally tough. This led to Justin’s pursuit of a Master’s Degree in Sport Psychology, expanding his knowledge on the mental side of the game. Justin believes that a strong mental game is the catalyst to unlock a player's true potential and implements mental skills training into his teaching style to help his students play more confidently, have better focus, concentration, and performance under pressure. Justin loves golf because it is a game that can never be perfected. That being said, he teaches skills that help better the individual both on and off the golf course. Whether a beginner, single-digit handicap, or somewhere in between, Justin is an amazing coach and teacher. He is confident that with knowledge of both the technical aspects of the golf swing and the mentality necessary to achieve peak performance, he will become the ideal fit for any golfer's goals. A Castro Valley native, Justin now resides in Walnut Creek with his wife Michelle and daughter Jaylen.
